Myra Hindley - The Prison Years (2006)

"In 1966 Myra Hindley was sentenced to life for the Moors murders. In 2002 Britain's most infamous female prisoner died behind bars.

In the intervening thirty six years the world outside Hindley's prison cell saw momentous political, cultural and social change. But throughout it all Hindley remained our touchstone for evil. Her name and familiar photograph (peroxide hair and shadow filled eyes) was wickedness incarnate. Other monsters came and went on the international and domestic stage, but Hindley remained the lodestone of evil on the nation's moral compass.

With her imprisonment for life without parole, Hindley's life at large was at an end. But behind bars, a new life was just beginning."
