Ne bih puno o Pou, jer nisam baš neki poznavalac, jedino bi naznačio da mi je njegov omiljeni rad nažalost jedini njegov roman "The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket", kod nas preveden kao "Doživljaji Arthura Gordona Pyma", i to baš zbog Lafkraftovskog fazona koji dominira, mada će naravno pre biti da je to Lafkraft od Poa pokupio, jer u romanu "U planinama ludila" priča ima skoro pa isti zaplet, čak i kraj dosta podseća na dešavanja iz Poovog romana. U svakom slučaju oba romana su odlična, tako da nije ni čudo da mi je "U planinama ludila" najdraže Lafkraftovo delo, a i ja to kontam iz fazona, gde je Po stao H.P. je produžio i naravno bogato nadogradio celu tu priču. E, sad, možda ja i grešim oko ovoga, ali zato je tu uvek spremni kolega Ognjanović da me ispravi.
